A few sketches done while i was waiting for someone to have a cardiac emergency (which is horrible, i know) at Denanath Mangeshkar Hospital.

wallets

 Spent the last weekend at home making a wallet for my mom and myself (since prateek took mine). Mom got so happy :)

And it matches with my purse :)

Since I got a new wallet from prateek (which is awesome - The Mighty Wallet), I gave the leather one to Nupur. And she got extremely happy as well :)
So, lesson learned - when you give something you like to others, you get back something you like even more.
Working with leather is quite fun too, must learn leather working techniques and processes.

an experiment

Tried to sketch a bike for the first time and that too directly with a sketch pen. Fortunately, it didn't turn out so bad.

 There are just so many great cars that i haven't discovered yet...when i see one somewhere, i feel compelled to sketch it (which makes me remember it)

i must draw!

Sometimes, when i can't think of anything to sketch, this kind of mindless, thoughtless doodling is very soothing. I realize that i have become a compulsive sketcher...i MUST draw! :)

the week in sketches

This process of documenting each day in sketches is a great way to analyze the day, what i did, what i should be doing, any significant occurrences, how productive or wasteful the day was...i should continue doing this everyday.
