Imagine a future where there is life on Mars, human life. Somehow, we managed to "build" an earth-like atmosphere on Mars and there was a relatively easy way to travel there.
Would people go and live on Mars? Who will want to go there? Outcasts of the society on Earth? Or the very rich? Would we be able to create a hospitable atmosphere on Mars for human kind? Would it be easier to just repair and restore the Earth's atmosphere?
Will wars be fought to conquer lands just like on Earth? Centuries of man-made history, discovery of new lands, materials, minerals, will they happen on Mars as well? Or will human kind move into an era of a planned planet? Will we preserve our planet? Can we live on both at the same time?
Can Earth sustain life on it long enough for technology and science to make it possible for us to live on Mars?
